Everyone would love to save money on their Walt Disney World vacation, and thankfully, from time to time, Disney offers special promotions and discounts to help guests save money on a vacation package, hotel rooms, tickets, dining, and more.

Disney World discounts are not always easy to get, and they are usually limited to a certain number of guests, so you will need to be quick!  They are also hard to understand and are not always straightforward.

Current Discounts at Walt Disney World

Bargain shoppers will be happy to know that there are some truly amazing discounts currently running at Walt Disney World, much more so than all of last year, and some of the offers are the best ones we’ve seen in 4-5 years!

Honestly, with the number of people that visited Walt Disney World recently, we didn’t think that there would be so many good promotions in 2025.  A couple of years ago, there were a ton of pent-up travelers who hadn’t been to Disney World in a few years, and they were flocking to the parks in almost record numbers.

That has been far from the case in 2024 or 2025.  U.S. residents are not spending nearly as much this year on travel in general, and many are cutting back on expenses due to the unstable economic situation.

If you were at the parks in last year, it’s really night and day.  Crowd levels were 20%-30% lower at most times of the year than the previous year, which is excellent if you are looking for short lines for your favorite attractions.

And it’s also starting to show up in a lack of future bookings.  Hotel reservations are down through the rest of the year and even into next year, and that’s why Disney has upped its “discount game”, hoping to entice would-be-travelers who are currently on the fence.

This had now led to some nice discounts for early 2025 and we expect there to be more throughout next year too.

If you are in the market for a Walt Disney World vacation, 2026 is an amazing year to go.  Not only are there a bunch of new attractions to enjoy if you haven’t been for a few years, but combine that with the low crowd levels and deep discounts currently being offered and it’s a perfect storm of sorts.

Let’s move on to the latest promotions at Disney World…

General Public Discounts

Though they usually aren’t the highest discounts, Disney usually has offers that benefit the general public in booking Walt Disney World hotel rooms and tickets.  So far this year we are seeing some really good deals and discounts haven’t been this high since 2019 with as much as 30% off.

Last year, the New Disney World 4-Park Magic Tickets were a big draw and though they are not currently available, we have received similar offers to replace them.

Here are the latest Walt Disney World general public discounts…

Save Up to 20% on Rooms at Select Disney Resort Hotels (Holidays 2025)

This offer really surprised us and shows how good bookings are right now at Walt Disney World as guests can only get a discount between 10% and 20% on hotel rooms, depending on which resort they would like to stay at.  This is not nearly as good of a rate as what we experienced last holiday season with discounts of over 30% per night.

Booking Dates:

• Save up to 20% on stays most Sunday to Thursday nights from October 12 to November 20, 2025 and most nights from November 23 to December 25, 2025.

Special Offer:

• Plus, when you upgrade to a Walt Disney Travel Company room-and-ticket package that includes nondiscounted 4-day or longer standard theme park tickets, you’ll get a Walt Disney World Resort Dining & Shopping Promo Card. The card value varies based on Resort Category:

Save Up to 25% on Rooms at Select Disney Resort Hotels (Spring 2026)

This offer gives guests at Walt Disney World a discount between 15% and 25% on hotel rooms, depending on which resort they would like to stay at.  This is a great discount rate for the general public, especially since it’s available during the Spring which is one of our favorite times of the year to visit.

The least expensive time to visit during this offer is most nights from Late February to the end of April which is always a popular time to visit. Obviously, if you try to book on Fridays or Saturday or near a holiday in that timespan the rooms get more expensive.

Some of the best deals we saw were the All-Star Sports Resort at $120 per night, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort at $263 per night, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort for just over $200 per night, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge under $354 per night.

Disney Free Dining Promotion

After years of waiting, the real Disney Free Dining Plan has finally come back, and guests can receive either the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan or the Disney Dining Plan with their stay.

Right now, that promotion is being offered on select dates from June 29 to September 30, October 20 to November 1, and December 6 to December 22, 2025. Depending on how many people are in your party, it can save you as much as $400 per night or more on a minimal 4-night, 4-day vacation package including a hotel room and theme park tickets with the Park-Hopper option.

The discount available is determined by the dates you chose and the resort you are staying at, and some resorts are excluded from the offer.

They are also offering the Free Disney Dining Plan for Kids at Walt Disney World in 2026. This is available for kids ages 3 to 9 when a dining plan is purchased by the rest of your traveling party as part of a Walt Disney World vacation package. Booking is from April 22, 2025 to October 31, 2026.

Save on a 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket Starting at $89 for Summer 2025

Disney World is always offering specials on rooms or theme park tickets to get guests to come, and this Summer there is a very good ticket deal.

As a limited-time offer, guests can get access to 3 of the 4 Walt Disney World theme parks (Magic Kingdom not included), for as low as $89 per day, plus tax. This is a great offer for families not interested in visiting the Magic Kingdom and gives great value for families not interested in visiting the Magic Kingdom and gives great value per day.

The offer is valid for start dates from April 6 to September 22, 2025..

This offer includes:

• 1 Access (1 Park per day) to EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom
• Not Valid at Disney’s Magic Kingdom
• No repeat visits to the same park
• No theme park reservations required

Save 50% on Select Kids (Ages 3 to 9) Tickets This Summer

Another good ticket offer this year is the Half-Price Summer 2025 ticket for Kids. Families who are traveling to Walt Disney World this summer can get 50% on theme park tickets for visits between May 27 and September 20, 2025.

This offer includes:

• 50% off standard 3-Day theme park tickets
• Kids ages 3-9
• No theme park reservations required

With this offer, the 50% savings also applies to kids (ages 3 to 9) tickets with these add-on options:

• Park Hopper Option: Visit more than one theme park on the same day.
• Water Park and Sports Option: Visit one theme park per day. Plus, get a certain number of visits to a water park, golf course or miniature golf course based on the length of your ticket.
• Park Hopper Plus Option: Visit more than one theme park on the same day. Plus, get a certain number of visits to a water park, golf course or miniature golf course based on the length of your ticket. This option is a combination of the Park Hopper Option and the Water Park and Sports Option.

Disney Bounceback Offer

If you are currently or will be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel in the near future, you are eligible to take advantage of the Disney Bounceback offer.  It’s also called the “Future Stay Offer” because if you are ready to book your next trip right when your current one is up, you can get a sweet discount on it.

This is one of the best deals as it allows you to save a straight 25% to 35% on your next trip.  The amount you will save depends on where you stay and there are some Disney resorts that do not participate in this deal, and there are also limited dates available.

Right now it is valid for stays in 2024 and 2025, so again, if you are planning on going then, it may end up being better than all the other discounts listed in this article.

Florida Resident Discounts

Just like the summer offer last year, this is one of the better offers you will see on Walt Disney World Resort hotel rooms for Florida Residents.  Guests can get a discount between 20% and 30% on hotel rooms depending on which resort they would like to stay at.

It’s rare to find promotions this good during during this season, and it allows guests that otherwise couldn’t afford it to visit at that time of the year.  The least expensive time to visit during the offer is from January 5 – February 5 on Sundays to Thursdays.

Some of the best deals we saw are at the All-Star Sports Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge which tend to be some of the best values for the money.

Starting at $129 Per Night Disney World Resorts for Florida Residents (Holidays 2025)

This is the best offer for Florida Residents on Walt Disney World hotel rooms that we’ve seen in quite some time and excellent if you are considering a trip this holiday season.

Guests can get a discount between 20% and 30% on hotel rooms depending on which resort they would like to stay at. It has a wide variety of Walt Disney World Resort hotel options with dates in November and December.

While holiday promotions are pretty common, it’s rare to find discounts that are this deep. Even if it’s hard for some guests to visit at this time of the year, this offer merits some consideration.

• This offers has rooms starting at $129 per night plus tax on stays most nights from November 16 to November 29, 2025 and also from December 12 to December 25, 2025.

Florida Resident Ticket Deal

There are usually awesome deals on Walt Disney World theme park tickets for Florida residents, with the best deals being on 3 and 4-day tickets.  Guests will typically save at least 30% to 40% on Base Tickets, plus an extra $40-$55 per ticket per day for one of the Park Hopper add-ons.

Right now, Disney is offering a special deal on ticket outside of what they normally give to Florida Residents. Here is a look at what this year’s deal looks like:

Through the Spring and Summer they are offering a 2, 3 and 4-day Florida Resident Summer Magic tickets for locals on visits between May 18 and September 27, 2025. 

• The 2-day ticket costs $210 (around $105 per day, plus tax).
• The 3-day ticket costs $225 (around $75.00 per day, plus tax).
• The 4-day ticket costs $240 (around $60 per day, plus tax).

For a limited time, there is also a special 3-Day Florida Resident Ticket offer starting from $70 Per Day, plus tax, with a total price starting at $210.

Similar to the previous Florida Resident tickets, these tickets also allowed add-on upgrades at discounted rates for the park hopper option, water parks, and sports option, and the park hopper plus option.

• Water Park and Sports Option: $35 more per ticket (plus tax)
• Park Hopper Option: $40 more per ticket (plus tax)
• Park Hopper Plus Option: $53 more per ticket (plus tax)

Annual Passholder Discounts

At almost at all times, Disney runs annual passholder discounts on Walt Disney World Resort hotel rooms.  These come at varying levels, but this year the offers have been especially generous, with some rooms marked down by as much as 35%.

This offer gives Disney World Annual Passholders a discount between 25% to 35% on hotel rooms, depending on which resort you would like to stay at.  Most years we see offers in the 20% – 30% range, but 35% is pretty rare.

What makes this one even more special are the dates included.  November to December is usually one of the most popular times of the year at Walt Disney World, so this is another clue as to how slow things are right now.

Walt Disney World offers various discounts on an annual basis for active and retired members of the U.S. military.  Offers include discounted tickets and hotel rooms and are usually quite generous, better than the majority of deals out there for the general public, annual passholders, or Florida residents.

U.S. Military Members: Enjoy Specially Priced Theme Park Tickets in 2025

Right now, Disney is offering discounted 4, 5 and 6-day Military Salute Tickets right on the Disney World website.

Here are the latest prices for Disney Military Salute Tickets:

• 4-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket
  • With Park Hopper Option: $369 plus tax
  • With Park Hopper Plus Option: $399 plus tax
• 5-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket
  • With Park Hopper Option: $389 plus tax
  • With Park Hopper Plus Option: $419 plus tax
• 6-Day Disney Military Salute Ticket
  • With Park Hopper Option: $409 plus tax
  • With Park Hopper Plus Option: $439 plus tax

To give you an example of the savings, 2025, 4-Day Disney Military Salute Tickets with the Park Hopper option cost $369 plus tax. Compare that with a regular 4-Day Park Hopper ticket which costs between $592 – $781.  In most situations that will save you $200-$300+ per ticket!

U.S. Military Members: Take Advantage of Great Rates at Select Disney Resort Hotels (2025)

There is also currently a nice deal for active or retired U.S. Military members on Walt Disney World Resort hotel rooms giving them a discount better than the general public.

Booking Dates: 

The offer is available for stays on most nights from January 1 to December 19, 2025.

Discount Rates: 

Guests can save between 20% and 30% on room-only bookings.  The exact prices are not published online and they change from season to season and depend on the resort you choose, so it’s hard to save just exactly how much you will save.

Disney Visa Cardholders

Another common discount for Disney vacations is for Disney Visa Cardholders.  While it’s not our absolute favorite credit card to use on vacations, from time to time it does give you some nice deals on hotels that can be worth it.

Right now there are no Walt Disney World offers for Disney Visa Cardholders, but the last time they ran this offer it gave cardholders a discount from 10% to 35% on hotel rooms. This was one of the highest percentages we’ve seen for Disney Visa promotions in the last 2-3 years, so it was a pretty nice deal.

We are expecting more Visa Cardholder offers in 2025, so stay tuned.

Go at the Right Time of the Year –  This is the easiest way in my book and by booking a trip at one of the more inexpensive times of the year, you could easily save hundreds, if not thousands of dollars.  Read our article “Cheapest Times of the Year to Visit Disney World” for more details.

Use Credit Card Perks – If you are staying at one of the hotels near Disney World, many of them will let you use your credit card points you’ve been saving to pay for your trip.  Again, this could save you thousands of dollars.

Get the Right Tickets – Most guests end up getting unnecessary add-ons to their theme park tickets like the park hopper option that they won’t fully use and only end up costing more money.  Also, many guests end up getting a ticket for more days than is necessary, which is also a huge waste.

Use Disney Gift Cards – If done correctly, this will save you a cool 5% to 10% on your entire Disney World trip, and it’s very easy to do.  It may be time-consuming, but the extra savings are worth it to me.  Read our Guide to Discount Disney Gift Cards for all our strategies for using them.

Who Can Get Discounts at Disney World?

At various times of the year, Disney will offer special discounts to the Walt Disney World Resort hotels or theme park tickets to Annual Passholders, Florida Residents, U.S. Military members, Disney Visa Cardholders, as well as the general public.

At times there are also some discounts for teachers, students, and other groups.

Can I Go to Disney World for Free on My Birthday?

No, unfortunately, Disney does not give you free admission to the theme parks on your birthday, nor do they give you any other discounts.

However, they do give you special treatment if you visit on your birthday including free food, a birthday pin, and other special perks. 

Do Students Get a Discount to Disney World?

Disney does offer discounts to students, but only if you go in a group of 10 people or more.  Students can buy discounted theme park tickets through the Disney Youth Program.

Do Teachers Get a Discount to Disney World?

At times, teachers can get discounts on Walt Disney World theme park tickets or resort hotel rooms.  However, this is only at certain times of the year and it’s hit or miss.
