Everyone would love to save money on their Walt Disney World vacation, and thankfully, from time to time, Disney offers special promotions and discounts to help guests save money on a vacation package, hotel rooms, tickets, dining, and more.

To help make finding the latest offers and specials easier for you, I decided to put all the current Disney World discounts in one place so you can compare which ones are the best for you and offer the most savings.
In this post, I will explain all the latest Walt Disney World discounts including for the general public, Annual Passholders, Florida Residents, Disney+ subscribers, U.S. Military members, Visa Cardholders, and whatever other offers pop up.
Along with this post, you will also want to read our two guides on saving money at Disney World. They are full of great tips to help you do Disney as cheaply as possible.
Disney World discounts are not always easy to get, and they are usually limited to a certain number of guests, so you will need to be quick! They are also hard to understand and are not always straightforward.
That’s one of the reasons we highly recommend using an Authorized Disney Travel Planner to do the hard work for you.

Our personal favorite is the expert team at Show You the World Travel. We use them for many of our own trips, and they always stay on top of the latest offers, and will even upgrade you to a better one when possible. This is the easiest and least stressful option for you.

Most of the currently announced offers are for 2026. Disney has not yet released full 2027 general-public, Florida Resident, Annual Passholder, military, Disney+, or Disney Visa promotions. However, complimentary water-park admission on check-in day is confirmed to return for select summer 2027 Disney Resort stays.

Always compare the total cost of the offer and check the Disney special offers page before booking. And reach out to Show You the World Travel and they will help you decide which one can save you the most money.

Disney+ Discounts

Disney has offered Disney Resort hotel promotions for Disney+ subscribers in the past, but there is no currently bookable or confirmed 2027 Disney+ subscriber offer recorded at this time.
When a new offer is released, check the required subscription status, booking dates, travel dates, eligible resorts, and whether the subscriber must be the lead guest and stay in the room.
Military Discounts
Walt Disney World offers various discounts on an annual basis for active and retired members of the U.S. military. Offers include discounted tickets and hotel rooms and are usually quite generous, better than the majority of deals out there for the general public, annual passholders, or Florida residents.

Disney Visa Cardholders

Another common discount for Disney vacations is for Disney Visa Cardholders. While it’s not our absolute favorite credit card to use on vacations, from time to time it does give you some nice deals on hotels that can be worth it.
Right now there are no Walt Disney World offers for Disney Visa Cardholders, but the last time they ran this offer it gave cardholders a discount from 10% to 35% on hotel rooms. This was one of the highest percentages we’ve seen for Disney Visa promotions in the last 2-3 years, so it was a pretty nice deal.
When a new offer is released, verify the qualifying card type, required payment method, booking and travel dates, eligible resorts or packages, and whether the Cardmember must be the lead guest.
Rent DVC Points for More Savings

If you are really looking to save money by staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, one of the best things you can do is to look into renting DVC points. The Disney Vacation Club (DVC) is Disney’s timeshare program, and even if you aren’t a member, you can still use it to get big discounts on the Disney World resorts. How?
DVC Owners can rent their unused points to people like you and me, and the best part is, those points end up being much cheaper than booking a resort directly through Disney.
One of the “drawbacks” is that you only rent DVC points at the Disney Deluxe Villa resorts, so it won’t work for getting savings at the Value or Moderate Resorts. However, if you like to stay at the Deluxe Resorts anyway, you will most likely save anywhere from 30% to 50% on whatever deals Disney is offering you.
It will also let you stay at a Deluxe Resort on a Moderate Resort budget, so it’s a way to upgrade, without really spending any more than you already would.
For the best experience, we recommend using a trusted DVC Reseller such as David’s DVC Rentals. They have amazing customer service, great prices, and a large inventory of Disney Resort hotel rooms.
Before doing anything, we recommend you read our Guide to Renting DVC Points, where we explain all the pros and cons in more detail and how you can get maximum savings by using this booking method.
Best Way to Save Big $$$ on Disney Resorts

If you want to potentially save thousands of dollars on your next trip to Disney World, I personally recommend David’s DVC Rentals. They consistently have the best prices and biggest selection of Disney Villas that will make you ask yourself: “How do they do it?”
Other Money Saving Tips
Besides these current discounts and renting DVC points, there are even more ways to save money on your next Disney trip. Here are a few of our favorites:

Go at the Right Time of the Year – This is the easiest way in my book and by booking a trip at one of the more inexpensive times of the year, you could easily save hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. Read our article “Cheapest Times of the Year to Visit Disney World” for more details.
Use Credit Card Perks – If you are staying at one of the hotels near Disney World, many of them will let you use your credit card points you’ve been saving to pay for your trip. Again, this could save you thousands of dollars.
Get the Right Tickets – Most guests end up getting unnecessary add-ons to their theme park tickets like the Park Hopper Option that they won’t fully use and only end up costing more money. Also, many guests end up getting a ticket for more days than is necessary, which is also a huge waste.
Use Disney Gift Cards – If done correctly, this can save you 5% to 10% on your Disney World trip. Read our Guide to Discount Disney Gift Cards for our strategies for using them.
All of these tips and more are covered in the article we wrote: Best Money-Saving Tips at Disney World.
FAQs

Who Can Get Discounts at Disney World?
At various times of the year, Disney offers special discounts on Walt Disney World Resort hotel rooms or theme-park tickets to Annual Passholders, Florida Residents, U.S. Military members, Disney Visa Cardmembers, Disney+ subscribers, and the general public.
At times there are also some discounts for teachers, students, and other groups.
Can I Go to Disney World for Free on My Birthday?
No, unfortunately, Disney does not give you free admission to the theme parks on your birthday, nor do they give you any other automatic birthday discount.
However, Cast Members and other guests may offer special recognition, and you can pick up a complimentary celebration button.
Do Students Get a Discount to Disney World?
Disney may offer group opportunities for eligible student organizations, but there is not a standard individual student discount available to every visitor. Check the current Disney Imagination Campus programs for group requirements.
Do Teachers Get a Discount to Disney World?
Disney does not consistently offer a general teacher discount on standard theme-park tickets or Disney Resort hotel rooms. Limited third-party or group offers may occasionally be available and should be verified individually.
Need Help Finding Discounts?

Of course, we put together this article to help you save money and to be able to find all of the current discounts in the same place so you don’t have to go searching all over for them. However, for many people, just a list of all the discounts is not enough to make a proper decision, and they would like more help to understand which is most advantageous for them.
That’s why, we always recommend getting help from an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner first. They are experts and understand every one of the current deals, and how to save the most money using them.
Our favorite Disney vacation planners are our friends from Show You the World Travel. In my opinion, they have the best service hands-down, and they take all the hard work out of planning a Disney trip.
We’ve used them countless times on our personal vacations, and they always know which package is best for us and the dates and resorts we are looking for. Plus, whenever a new discount comes out that is a better savings than what we have, they upgrade us right away and we don’t have to lift a finger.
The best part is that using an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner is absolutely free, so it never costs us any money. To me that makes it a really easy decision.

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.

As annual pass holders I think we will take advantage of coming down this spring. 35% at a deluxe resort sounds pretty good for a 4 night escape. Thanks for the great info Ziggy.

You might want to double check the military salute ticket prices. Disney’s website gives higher prices than listed here- though until about a month ago they were honoring the 2024 prices. Also you cannot get military salute tickets in the website. You must get them at a military installation, shades of green or possibly at the TTC. We’ve always gotten ours at our local military installation.
