Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Map and Disneyland Guidemap Debuts

We’re only days away from the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland and Disney has just released the first Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge map which you’ll use to navigate the largest and most technologically advanced single-themed land expansion ever!

You’ll step right into a remote planet full of unique sights, sounds, smells, tastes and other immersive experiences.

Here is a first look at the new Disneyland Park guide map after the addition of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge:

I have to say that on the Disneyland guide map, Galaxy’s Edge looks pretty good tucked away there in the back and fits in well!

Now let’s look at the Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge map itself:

What makes the Disneyland version of Galaxy’s Edge different from the Hollywood Studios version though is that there are three entrances into the new 14-acre land. Disney has emphasized the fact that each guest will have their own story to explore and adventure to play out, and the amazing surroundings in Galaxy’s Edge help you to do that.

It’s interesting under “Attractions” they have 4 things listed. We of course already knew about the Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attractions, but they also have the Droid Depot and Savi’s Workshop – Handbuilt Lightsabers sited as attractions. This is because of their high interactivity and entertainment value they offer to guests.

The physical guide map isn’t the only way to navigate Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, you can also get it all on your mobile phone or desktop! For example, here is a look at the Galaxy’s Edge map on the Disneyland app:

Here’s a look at Galaxy’s Edge as a whole at the top and Critter Country below:

Next we focus in on Black Spire Outpost is, which contains all the shops and restaurants in Galaxy’s Edge, plus the outside of the Millennium Falcon attraction:

There’s a pretty high concentration of places here with Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo, Ronto Roasters and Kat Saka’s Kettle for food, plus Black Spire Outfitters, Toydarian Toymaker, Creature Stall and Jewels of Bith all together:

Besides the Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge Guide Map, Disney also released the Galaxy’s Edge Merchant and Food Guide which gives an even closer look at the shops and restaurants in Galaxy’s Edge:
