This is a construction progress update for Club 33 over in Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Not too long ago we saw the facade, window and railings up at the new Club 33 location in Adventureland. Yesterday we went through Adventureland to find the walls down and the Club 33 entrance finished from construction there. Let’s check it out!
Before yesterday there were construction walls up along the walkway here by the entrance to Adventureland, now the walls are down and you can see where the entrance will be into this private restaurant:
Going with the Adventureland theming, there are lots of greens, reds and yellows keeping it all bright a colorful:
Love the bright colors on the stained glass windows too:
This is where guests will enter Club 33, using the special intercom and scanner located next to the door to gain access to the front gate:
Here’s a closeup of the scanner:
Guests will enter the gate where the scanner is on the left and then make their way to the light blue door on the right:
Club 33 will be private, so unless you are willing to shell out big bucks to be a member or know someone who is, you’ll be enjoying the view from the outside!
Here’s a look at the backside of Club 33. You can see the stairs going from one terrace to the other. The terrace on the upper left will be a great viewing area for the Magic Kingdom fireworks:
Disney hasn’t given any opening date yet for the Adventureland Club 33 location, in fact they haven’t even really acknowledged the fact that they are building 4 different Club 33 locations throughout Walt Disney World.
This Club 33 in Adventureland is rumored to be called: “Captain’s Quarters” with heavy theming on 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Sounds really cool and pays homage to a classic Disney attraction from the past.
According to cast members at the Hollywood Brown Derby in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, their version of Club 33 has already been open for some months now, so is the Animal Kingdom location.
