We’re all excited about Walt Disney World’s newest transportation system the Disney Skyliner, and today some new details were released including that the cables are ready to be installed soon.
We also found out that there are 6 miles of track between 5 stations located at the 4 resorts and 2 theme parks (Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Art of Animation Resort, Caribbean Beach Resort, Pop Century and Disney Riviera Resort.)
Check out this video Disney released about the Skyliner with some great new concept art and details about it:
No date has been given yet for opening but it will be sometime in mid-2019 as much testing needs to be done before opening. But seeing as the cables are going to start going up soon that’s certainly a good sign! There was however no word about air-conditioning as it looks like latest reports from inside Disney say it is not included.
Keep an eye out for when the cables go up around Walt Disney World in the next weeks and months…

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
