If you’ve even been to Paris there are many things that leave an impression on your mind, but very few things leave an impression on your stomach as much as the delicious crepes you find all around the city. Now all that yumminess is coming to Epcot!
As you know Disney is currently working on an expansion to the France pavilion in Epcot, and now we know there is going to be an authentic crêperie featuring the cuisine of celebrity chef Jérôme Bocuse who is also behind the Chefs de France and Monsieur Paul restaurants in Epcot.
This new location will be both a sit-down table service restaurant and a quick service dining location. We don’t know too much yet about the menu, just that crepes are going to be included in both, and in the quick service location savory crepes (galettes) and sweet crepes will be available.
Real authentic crepes like what you get in Paris are so yummy and so addicting and when we go we end up having to try different ones all over the city to compare them all. For the quick service crepes coming to Epcot, I’m imagining something similar to this:
Watching the owner of La Droguerie making a crepe was like watching Monet painting, a true artist. And eating them was an even better experience. I hope that when the crêperie opens in Epcot, they can hire some French people who really understand the art of making crepes so they come out as close as possible to the real ones you get in Paris. Not like the current crepes you can get in Epcot which are highly disappointing.
The expansion to the France Pavilion is shaping up to be really beautiful and it will transport guests along the banks of the Seine, and through the small neighborhoods of Paris. This crêperie is just one of the new enhancements coming to the France Pavilion, which will make my already favorite pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase even better!
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure attraction is going to be the headliner for the France Pavilion, which is a copy of the attraction currently found in Walt Disney Studios Park in Disneyland Paris. Guests enter a trackless vehicle which brings them on a wild adventure though he kitchen of Gusteau’s legendary Parisian restaurant. I really enjoyed this ride on my visit to Disneyland Paris and I think it’s going to be a really nice addition to the Epcot attraction lineup.
France is also getting a “Beauty and the Beast” Sing-Along experience, which along with the classic “Impressions de France,” it will make 3 attractions for this area. Not to mention all the other Epcot additions coming in the next few years like the Guardians of Galaxy coaster, Illuminations fireworks replacement and all the changes being made to the Epcot entrance and Innoventions area.

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.

I hope the restaurant is as good as Chez Remy in Disneyland Paris. The food, service and theming was amazing. I think the best Disney dining experience I've ever had.

Hi Robert, thanks for the comment. I honestly haven't tried Chez Remy but from the pictures it really looks incredible! I hope that this new place in Epcot lives up to that too!
