With many physical changes coming to the park, Disney debuted the new logo for Hollywood Studios which they showed off at the 30th anniversary celebration of the park today.
During the ceremony Disney revealed this new logo which will be found throughout the park including above the gate leading over to Toy Story Land and the Star Wars Launch Bay.
If you look closely at the sign you can see some of the Disney characters in it including: BB-8, Woody and of course Mickey Mouse himself. It’s a symbol of the vast changes Hollywood Studios has gone through and a preview for what’s coming next.
I personally love it and you can see Disney will be concentrating on those characters moving forward in Hollywood Studios.
To start off the new attraction Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy just opened up last month and is a cool experience for any Cars fans and especially kids.
As you know Toy Story Land opened last year with two new attractions too mixed reviews, but overall a positive addition to Hollywood Studios. It’s getting better soon with a new table service restaurant “Roundup Rodeo BBQ” having been recently announced. Any good food options in Hollywood Studios are always welcome!
As part of the 30th anniversary celebration today, Disney is debuting the highly anticipated new nighttime spectacular “Wonderful World of Animation.” This new projection show will be displayed on the front of the Chinese Theater at the end of Hollywood Blvd, which will be transformed into a tribute of animated Disney classics.
Expect different sevens from films such as: “Sleeping Beauty,” “The Incredibles,” “Coco” and many more…
Then the best is still to come when in August the most highly anticipated new land in theme park history is debuting in Hollywood Studios, “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.” This new land is going to change the way guests visit theme parks and will make this park the one of the most traveled destinations in Orlando.
In Spring 2020 we are also getting a new attraction inside the Chinese Theater based on our favorite mouse, Mickey himself. “Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway” will use new projection technology to deliver another must-ride experience and hopefully another fantastic addition to the Studios.
We’re looking forward to all these new additions in Hollywood Studios and I know it’s going to be a place we spend a whole lot of time in very shortly. Stay tuned to ZiggyKnowsDisney.com for more updates on all of these projects as we continue to bring you the latest!

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
