One of the projects we’ve been following very closely is the new resort coming to the old River Country site. Now this new nature-inspired resort on Bay Lake has a name: “Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge.”
Last month Disney confirmed that they are indeed building this new Disney Vacation Club resort which will have 900 hotel rooms and be ready to open by 2022.
I’m not sure how I feel about the name honestly. Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge is a mouthful and doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue. I had very high hopes for this property as it’s in a pristine location on Bay Lake and close to Disney’s Magic Kingdom, but the un-inspiring concept art we were shown last month and now this super long name has me just a bit nervous. Hopefully Disney will pull it off and the next set of concept art images will improve on what we’ve seen to this point. At least there is still time
