Everyone knows Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge is coming to Disneyland May 31, 2019, but lots of preparation is still needed to make that opening a success. That’s why we want to share with you some details of a crucial piece to the puzzle in the Pixar Pals Parking Structure.
We found out about this new parking structure last year, but now we have more details. This new parking garage is currently being built at the Disneyland Resort as part of just one of the many improvements which should help make guests’ experience when visiting much more pleasant and convenient!
The Pixar Pals parking garage is going to be huge with more than 5,000 available spaces and feature all your favorite Pixar characters from “Inside Out!,” “Coco,” and “Monsters, Inc.” It will be located right next to the current Mickey & Friends structure.
This new parking garage should open by the end of July if not sooner which will be useful for the Galaxy’s Edge traffic that is sure to come!
That’s not the only news though in Disneyland Parking, the Toy Story parking structure is being expanded with an additional 2,000 spaces when done. This structure is also getting an advanced security screening area so guests will be checked here and not have to wait till they get to the crowded entrance right outside the parks.
Sounds like a win to me!
Disney also announced a few ways they will be handling the crowds when Galaxy’s Edge opens up including no standby-queue to get in and a limited time for all guests.
Sounds like it’s going to be a wild ride this year in Disneyland. Be sure to stay around at Ziggy Knows Disney for all the updates coming soon…
I want to know what you think about the new Pixar Parking structure coming to Disneyland…
