The popular fast casual dining location ABC Commissary in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, will soon be changing the way it serves guests for dinner to a reservation system, plus be making some enhancements to the restaurant.
Right now the ABC Commissary serves both Lunch and Dinner as a Fast Casual experience, but starting June 2, 2019, guests will no longer be able to use Mobile order app for Dinner.
From 4pm on every evening anyone dining at the ABC Commissary will need to have already made a reservation ahead of time, just like a normal ADR restaurant, and then you’ll be allowed to order food, grab a pager and wait till the food is brought to you table as usual.
Walk-ups will still be available, but based on availability, so you might have to wait a while without a reservation.
Some of the menu options for Lunch and Dinner at the ABC Commissary include:
- Vegan Burger, a mouthwatering plant-based burger topped with vegan mayonnaise-ketchup blend, spicy Sriracha mustard and griddled balsamic glazed onions and bell peppers
- BBQ Rib Platter with tender dry-rubbed slow-smoked pork ribs tossed in a sweet BBQ sauce served with coleslaw, pickles, and steak fries.
- Shrimp Teriyaki Bowl dinner entrée with stir-fried shrimp, Napa cabbage, snap peas, red peppers, carrots, onions, edamame, shiitake mushrooms, and broccoli tossed in a house-made teriyaki sauce and served over brown rice.
- Plus a new menu item: Pot Roast served over mashed potatoes and root vegetables with beef gravy and onion straws.
Don’t forget the enhancements coming as well including:
- Self-serve beverage stations
- New Art-Deco-inspired elements and furnishings
Nothing will change for Lunch and guests can continue enjoying the ABC Commissary as a normal Fast Casual restaurant.
Disney has also just announced that PizzeRizzo will be reopening on May 4 in order to give Hollywood Studios more dining capacity while the ABC Commissary is closed.
