Rumor: DuckTales Interactive Attraction Coming to Epcot

Ever since the new DuckTales series was launched in 2017, fans have been wondering how long it would take to get the franchise into the Disney Parks. Now it looks like a DuckTales interactive attraction could be replacing the “Disney Phineas and Ferb: Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure” in Epcot in the near future.

This rumor comes from who is saying that inside sources point to a DuckTales overlay of Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure and all of your favorite characters like Huey, Duey, Luey and Scrooge will be involved.

If you haven’t done the Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure, it’s essentially an interactive scavenger hunt you use the Play Disney Parks app with to test your secret agent skills by cracking clues to defeat diabolical Dr. Doofenshmirtz.

Seeing how popular the DuckTales franchise is and that it’s had a successful reboot in the last 2 years it makes sense for Disney to bring them into the park. Disney has also made it known that they want to make Epcot more kid-friendly and DuckTales certainly would do that.

It also helps that DuckTales are about characters that travel the world on adventures, and that fits perfectly into World Showcase Adventure.

Right now the World Showcase countries that are used in the current Agent P’s World Showcase Adventure are:

  • China Pavilion
  • France Pavilion
  • Germany Pavilion
  • Japan Pavilion
  • Mexico Pavilion
  • United Kingdom Pavilion

One would assume that a DuckTales adventure would send visitors to those same locations.

As you know Epcot is in the middle of a huge expansion project with construction going on all around the park. Things are only going to pick up in the next couple years as we already are awaiting a Guardians of the Galaxy Coaster, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and overhauls to the Innoventions Plaza and the Epcot Entrance.

As of now DuckTales coming to Epcot is only a rumor, but it certainly looks like a realistic one considering that this had already been rumored a couple of years back. We’ll stay tuned for more updates and an official announcement from Disney if it does happen.

Your Thoughts:

I am a big fan of PnF, so I am so sad that they are going to replace them... But, I do like Ducktales, so I am 1% excited about it...? I guess. I don’t really know.
