Oh man, just when I was having a calm relaxing day Disney drops this bomb of a video on me, showing some AT-AT Walkers under construction. They look gigantic!! Right now there are two Star Wars Lands under construction, one in Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World and the other in the Disneyland Resort in California.
Is anyone out there as excited as I am for Galaxy’s Edge to open up!
These 2 lands are going to be unlike anything else you’ve ever experienced in theme park before, being totally immersive and interactive. It will be modeled after a land that hasn’t been seen in any of the movies and will have 2 main attractions plus themed dining and shopping.
The 2 attractions will be a Millennium Falcon attraction, where you will actually get to take control of Han’s famous ship, and also a Battle between the First Order and the Resistance. The construction is coming along well across both 14 acre plots of land and Bob Iger announced recently that the Star Wars Lands will open in 2019, so far we don’t have a specific date.
UPDATE: Checkout our complete walkthrough of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge and our review of this new land!
I don’t know about you but I couldn’t be more excited for this small tease!! Stay tuned for more updates…

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
