Today permits were filed with the South Florida Water Management District indicating the location of the new Disney Star Wars Hotel. From this the Star Wars Hotel Permits filed show it will be near Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. In fact we’ve been speculating for a while now where it would be located and this location just made too much sense for it not to go here. The name “Project H” is what’s being used for this project in the permits.
On the following image of the permits, you can see the Star Wars Hotel location will be near the intersections of World Dr and Osceola Parkway.
Here’s a closer look at the permits:
You can see the proximity to Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, which will allow easy guest access between this new land and the Star Wars Hotel, without guests breaking their roleplaying experience within the Star Wars universe.
Here’s an aerial shot of the area currently under construction to give you a better idea where the Star Wars Hotel is going:
It’s still unclear what the dirt mounds north of the indicated area on the permits will be, that could be parking or also be included in on the Star Wars Hotel as well.
Again, it hasn’t been confirmed by Disney yet, but since we know the Star Wars Hotel will be connected to Galaxy’s Edge, there are too many signs pointing in this direction that it could mean anything else.
