Avengers Infinity War Becomes 5th Highest Movie All-Time at Box Office After Just 3 Weeks

Avengers Infinity War Becomes 5th Highest Movie All-Time at Box Office

It didn’t take very long, in fact Avengers Infinity War has only been out for 3 weeks, yet it’s breaking records left and right.  Now already past Marvel Studios’ previous massive hit Black Panther, Avengers Infinity War is now the fifth-highest grossing film of all-time at the box office worldwide.

Part of that massive success was due to its huge opening this weekend in China, with Infinity War raking in $200 million there alone, giving it the biggest 3-Day opening in China ever.

At the domestic box office Avengers Infinity War was still at the #1 spot this week, bringing in $61.8 Million, giving it a grand total of $548 Million so far, and sitting at the 8th spot all-time right now.

Being in fifth place all-time in the international box office means it’s already passed out “The Avengers,” “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Furious 7,” “The Last Jedi” and more.  It just became the fastest film ever to earn $1 Billion at the box office, doing it in only 11 days, and it’s now not far behind the $2 Billion mark which would make it the only Summer film to ever get there.

As far as the fan reactions, Avengers Infinity War has been much more positive than “The Last Jedi” was only months before.  In my Avengers Infinity War Review I break down all the reasons why I think it could be the best film yet in the Marvel Cinematic universe.  It definitely lived up to my expectations I had for it coming into the year.
