Winnie the Pooh Character Greet Returns to Epcot

It’s been a while, but the Winnie the Pooh Character Meet and Greet has returned to Epcot’s World Showcase and we went there to check it out. Let’s go…

So it might be a little hard to find since it’s off the beaten path, but you can find the Winnie the Pooh Character Greet in the back corner of the UK Pavilion in World Showcase. This is a quiet little area of Epcot which we love to sit back and relax in most of the time, but you can also come back here to hear some awesome music too!

Today it’s more crowded because people are here to see Winnie the Pooh. This character greet had been closed for a few years, so we’re happy to say he’s back. He’s been greeting guests now since early September and it’s great to see him there!

Winnie is there greeting guests between 9:00 am to 8:40 pm daily.

This also is going to be the location of the new Mary Poppins attraction and will be designed to resemble Cherry Tree Land from the Mary Poppins films.

Looking over in the corner you can see the line starting to form to meet Pooh bear!

We waited about 20 minutes or so and then we were shown to the door:

Right beyond this door is Christopher Robin’s room where the Winnie the Pooh meet takes place:

The design is really awesome and it looks like you’ve stepped right into his room! His desk is in the corner, his wardrobe, and lots of toys throughout the room:

There he is…Winnie the Pooh!! You can even see the Hundred Acre Wood behind him through the window:

Pooh was really happy to see us and we were able to get a few nice pictures with him and of him by himself.

We scanned our MagicBands to receive our pictures in My Disney Experience and we were on our way.

Overall I thought it was a really cool character greet. It’s nice to see Pooh all over Disney World, but especially nice right in his own home environment in Christopher Robin’s Room! We’ll definitely be back and we think it’s one of the absolute best character greets in Epcot!
