Menu Review:

Ok, so there’s a lot to a name.  I mean when something is called: Red Hot Spicy Thai Curry Beef, it’s probably for a reason.  This stuff is real spicy, and that’s coming from someone who loves spicy.  Now it wasn’t too spicy for me, but if you aren’t used to hot stuff you’ll want to steer clear.  That being said we LOVED it!  This is a monstrous portion, full of steamed rice, big chunks of beef and pilled on with that killer sauce.  A tough one for our 12:00pm lunch in the scorching sun, but will be nice on a November night in Epcot.  The meat was super tender and we just couldn’t get enough!  My mom who’s super picky, absolutely loved it and we couldn’t pry it away from her! hahahaha

The Seared Shrimp and Scallop Cake with Cold Noodle Salad is another WINNER in my book.  Just starting off with shrimp and scallops in the name is definitely going to get me to eat it, and this didn’t let me down.  There was one “cake” in there and it was HUGE!  The mixture was all shrimp and scallops, no filler, into one big patty.  It was super juicy and cooked to perfection!  But those accompanying noodles were just as good as the shrimp and scallop cake.  They were very thin and really fresh tasting, served cold.  Had a wonderful, zesty, lemon taste to them and we couldn’t get enough.  This makes my Best NEW Items for 2017 Epcot Food and Wine Festival, so that probably means you should give it a try 😉

Last up was the Marinated Chicken with Peanut Sauce and Stir-fried Vegetables.  Another awesome option imo!  My sister Steph who is a peanut sauce fanatic kept raving about it all lunch, and it was right up there with the best she’s had.  I thought the sauce was a tad bit on the thin side, but it had a nice rich peanut flavor to it, and the chicken was nice and moist.  Thailand is not cheap this year at Food and Wine because this is another giant portion size!

Booth Summary and Grade:

Honestly you can’t go wrong in Thailand, everything was fantastic and I’d jump back in line to try it all again.  They’re all relatively inexpensive too, and give you huge portions for your money.  Just be aware of the spice in the Beef and peanut allergy in the Chicken.  And that Shrimp and Scallop cake will be on my mind for a long time.  Only thing holding them back from #1 is a dessert, we’ll see if they bring one out next year!
