The day is finally here, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is now open in…
First of all, let me say WARNING!!! This post contains a full POV ride-through video of the new Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance ride in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
If you want to be surprised, DO NOT watch it.
Members of the media starting yesterday had a chance to ride Rise of the Resistance, and so today there will be a wave of images, videos, and other media to hit the internet.
We thought it was right to share a ride-through video with you, but again only for people who don’t care about being surprised by the ride. I personally think it’s much better to go into a new attraction not knowing what to expect. Seeing the crucial moments in the ride before ever going on, can take some of that initial excitement away and might spoil it. Unfortunately for my line of work, some spoilers are necessary, but that’s the nature of things.
That said, this ride is AMAZING! It truly is a Disney Imagineering marvel, and one that I can say has not been over-hyped. All the hype you’ve been hearing over the last months is true and it will blow your mind.
Here is the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance ride video:
The most crucial thing right now for Disney is that they can keep Rise of the Resistance running. The problem with the ride has been that it’s so complex, it’s been extremely hard to keep running for long periods of time. If they aren’t able to do this, it will lead to a lot of angry guests, so it will be interesting to monitor in the coming weeks and months.
For more details about the attraction read our Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance Guide, where we break down all your questions and anything you want to know about the ride.
I want to know what you think about the Rise of the Resistance ride video…
