First of all, let me say WARNING!!! This post contains a full POV ride-through video of the new Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance ride in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
If you want to be surprised, DO NOT watch it.
Members of the media starting yesterday had a chance to ride Rise of the Resistance, and so today there will be a wave of images, videos, and other media to hit the internet.
We thought it was right to share a ride-through video with you, but again only for people who don’t care about being surprised by the ride. I personally think it’s much better to go into a new attraction not knowing what to expect. Seeing the crucial moments in the ride before ever going on, can take some of that initial excitement away and might spoil it. Unfortunately for my line of work, some spoilers are necessary, but that’s the nature of things.
That said, this ride is AMAZING! It truly is a Disney Imagineering marvel, and one that I can say has not been over-hyped. All the hype you’ve been hearing over the last months is true and it will blow your mind.

The most crucial thing right now for Disney is that they can keep Rise of the Resistance running. The problem with the ride has been that it’s so complex, it’s been extremely hard to keep running for long periods of time. If they aren’t able to do this, it will lead to a lot of angry guests, so it will be interesting to monitor in the coming weeks and months.

What kind of fun is this? After paying $100+ for park we need to stand at Gate early morning 6.30am and that's not guaranteed. Am I visiting park for fun and Enjoy or some life saving emergency? Comeon Disney.. I am gladly skipping this attraction next week.

Hi Harish, thanks for commenting. You are right, it can be quite a frustrating experience right now if you are interested in doing RotR. Unfortunately, the ride is not reliable right now which is why we are having to wake up at some crazy hour to get a chance to ride. Let's hope they fix the problems soon so that it doesn't have to be this hard!

We were able to access Rise of the Resistance yesterday ( New Years Day 2020) . In my opinion it is the GOLD standard of amusement park attractions. And we live in Orlando. Your description is pretty much spot on - but depending on which pod you are placed in depends on some differences in effect of ride. If possible this attraction needs visited multiple times to take it all in. It is just Amazing.
