We just posted an update for the Disney Skyliner Construction progress a couple of weeks ago, but there is already so much change we wanted to share it all with you. In the last few weeks Disney Skyliner Stations have been popping up all over Walt Disney World, and you now have a much clearer view of the Disney Skyliner map route and each stop along the way.
We’ll be looking at Skyliner Stations at Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Disney Riviera Resort, Art of Animation, Pop Century and Caribbean Beach Resorts.
We have some really cool photos to share with you thanks to @bioreconstruct over on Twitter, he always takes fantastic aerial photos of the construction around Walt Disney World for those of us chickens who are afraid of heights and prefer staying on the ground! 😉 The previous Disney Skyliner Construction Update was amazing too, but now there is so much more to see!
Let’s check out the latest Disney Skyliner construction progress:
Let’s start down at the Pop Century and Art of Animation Resorts. Here you can see at the bottom in the middle of the water the Skyliner station for the two resorts. Going north in the middle, the first arrow indicated the Disney Skyliner station at the Caribbean Beach Resort. The next arrow is at the Disney Riviera Resort. And lastly way in the left corner is the station for Epcot at the International Gateway:
A closer look at the Disney Skyliner station for Pop Century and Art of Animation in the middle of the bridge:
As you move north the first arrow shows the Caribbean Beach Resort Station under construction. On the right it leads to the Riviera Resort Station:
If you make a sharp left from the Caribbean Beach station it’ll take you to the Skyliner station at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Skyliner route will run from the bottom left of the parking lot here up to the middle of the photo, along the water where the station will be:
Here’s a shot of the Disney Skyliner station for Hollywood Studios:
Back from the Caribbean Beach skyliner station, it takes you up to Disney’s Riviera Resort. You can see construction here is going vertical very quickly, it looks like they have 6 floors already done. The Riviera Resort is expected to be finished in late 2019.
Here is an overhead look at the Skyliner station for the Riviera Resort. One way takes you back to the Caribbean Beach Resort and Hollywood Studios, the other brings you up to Epcot:
Where the yellow arrow is is where the Disney Skyliner route to Epcot will be. Notice Hollywood Studios off to the left with the Tower of Terror visible, and the Riviera Resort under construction in the foreground:
Once you head towards Epcot, the route will hit another Skyliner station in between, passing you over to Epcot:
The bottom arrow is where you are coming from in the previous photo, the top arrow is the location of the Epcot Disney Skyliner station right outside the International Gateway. Notice the France pavilion on the right under construction. This will be amazing at night when arriving from the Riviera Resort. You’ll have sweeping views of World Showcase to the right and the Epcot resorts to the left:
As you can see there was a lot of progress on the Disney Skyliner since the last update and you can really see the locations of the Skyliner stations clearly. We still have some time though and expect a late 2019 opening. Stay tuned for more Disney Skyliner updates as soon as we have them!

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
