Today some new Disney Riviera Resort concept art was released with a detailed look at the entrance of this Disney Vacation Club property opening in 2019.
The image was released on the Disney Vacation Club website along with the phrase: “Inspired by Europe, Imagined by Disney.” The concept behind the Disney Riviera Resort is a waterfront resort on the Italian or France Riviera. The style is noticeable, more so in this new image rather than the view we’ve seen of the back of the resort.
It’s going to be 12 stories, but only a small number of rooms (300+ at the start). The highlight will be the rooftop restaurant (similar to California Grill) where you can watch the fireworks from both Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Besides the concept art we also got a short video with the resort logo:

Here’s the logo, complete with a fancy Hidden Mickey weaved into the title:
I like the styling of this a lot and think Mickey is a nice added touch!
While we got to see more of the Disney Riviera Resort entrance today, a few weeks back we got a more detailed look at the back of the resort:
Another cool part about the Riviera Resort is that it will be one of the few hotels on Walt Disney World property connected to the Disney Skyliner, so expect fast service to and from the two nearby parks!
The Disney Riviera Resort is opening in Fall 2019 at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Your Thoughts:
I want to know what you think about the concept art for the Disney Riviera Resort entrance…
- What do you think of the resort?

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
