Last weekend Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 opened in theaters and soaring to the top of the box office charts. Now there’s more great news for Guardians fans with the opening of the new attraction Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: BREAKOUT! coming to Disneyland California Adventure on May 27th and starting the Summer of Heroes.
Join the fun during the Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance Off! where Star-Lord and Gamora return to the Collector’s Fortress to retrieve Star-Lord’s precious boom box. It’s going to be a lively party enlisting everyone around to help out and show off their rockin dance moves!
Also for the first time you’ll encounter Groot. He arrives just as the party is wrapping up but is happy to stay and visit with everyone as Star-Lord and Gamora make their escape.
The Summer of Heroes event is going to be full of excitement including: Avengers Training Initiative featuring Black Widow, Hawkeye, Captain America and Spider-Man. I can’t wait to get to California Adventure and experience it all for myself!
