Disney has removed Club Cool, Starbucks, and the Fountain of Nations from the Epcot Park Map in the latest update of their digital map on My Disney Experience.
As you know, Epcot is undergoing a major transformation to the park, especially Future World which is being dissolved and getting split into 3 neighborhoods instead of its current setup.
Part of that transformation has already started as Disney has shut down Club Cool, Starbucks, the Fountain of Nations, Character Spot, and more. Construction walls are up throughout Future World and you can see some of the works starting to happen.
Let’s take a look at the new map. Here we have an overview of Epcot with a complete view of the park:
In this photo you can see Future World and World Showcase, and already the missing buildings are present.
The whole section where Starbucks and Club Cool were is now marked by empty grass:
It looks strange with the missing structures and Future World is now unbalanced. If you looks at the map though, Innoventions West is still marked on the left of the map and hasn’t been reomoved yet even though that whole building is set to be demolished soon too:
We anticipate many more changes to the Epcot map over the next months and years as the park undergoes this huge transformation, the way it is now will be completely different.
Stay tuned here at Ziggy Knows Disney as we bring you all the latest updates on Epcot, the transformation of the park and any more changes to the Epcot map.
Your Thoughts:
I want to know what you think about the Epcot map changes…
- Do you like them?
- Do you like the empty space or should they put the future structures in?

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
