Construction has been going on for months now, but today Disney has announced that the new entrance to Disney’s Hollywood Studios is opening November 8th!
This will totally change the way guests arrive to Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park, and is in preparation for Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge and the park’s 30th anniversary in 2019. Now the entrance and the new signs going up will make it much easier and convenient for guests coming in.
The new entrance is located on Osceola Parkway, so guests will enter that way. Even guests coming from the southbound Victory Way will find a connecting road leading to the new entrance. Meanwhile the current main entrance to the Hollywood Studios parking lot will serve Cast Members only from now on. Buses will enter on Buena Vista Drive.

This is all part of a bigger transportation upgrade throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, which also includes the Disney Skyliner which will bring guests to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Epcot and the surrounding hotels. This is needed to prepare the resort for the 50th Anniversary in 2021.
Stay tuned for more…

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
