As you may have seen, for the past couple months Main Street USA, at Disneyland park has been undergoing a refurbishment to the brickwork and train tracks in front of the Train Station and down Main Street. Well today Disney announced that the horses can come back because the Disneyland Main Street USA Refurbishment is now complete!
I know a lot of people were complaining about Disneyland turning into a construction zone, but the street really needed some work. Now, the entire horse-drawn streetcar track has been replaced in its entirety for the first time, and beautiful brickwork lines the streets, leading to Sleeping Beauty Castle. Just look at that view:
Even though there have been other refurbishments here in the past, whatever remained of the original track lining Main Street has been salvaged and preserved, while the already replaced sections of track were recycled. We can’t wait to get over to Disneyland and see for ourselves how the refurbishment turned out, but if it’s close to being as beautiful as in the photos it was definitely worth the wait!
