Augmented Reality Mickey Mouse Messaging Coming to Play Disney Parks App

There is going to be a new surprise from Mickey Mouse waiting for you at the end of your Walt Disney World vacation really soon with an augmented reality Mickey Mouse message on the Play Disney Parks app.

With any Walt Disney World vacation of 3 days or longer, guests will receive a special letter in the mail thanking them for their visit. But that’s not all…In that letter, there is a special QR Code that unlocks a secret message in the Play Disney Parks app from Mickey Mouse himself.

By scanning that QR Code, it brings the letter to life and keeps a little bit of the magic going even after leaving Disney World.

The Play Disney Parks app offers all sorts of fun games, trivia and interactive fun right from your phone. It’s especially fun to use inside the parks where many of your surroundings can be interacted with and unlock special features in the app.

Disney continues to offer more new uses for the app, including this augmented reality Mickey Mouse.

No word on exactly when this new message will start, but we’ll keep you updated as soon as we know.
