This morning on the official Hong Kong Disneyland Blog, Disney released two new videos for the upcoming attraction Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle which is coming to Hong Kong Disneyland in just a few months!
The videos showed a behind the scenes look at how the attraction will work, and what exactly went into making it. You also get a surprise visit from Paul Rudd (Ant-Man) and Evangeline Lily (The Wasp) who Disney was able to get to participate in the making of this new attraction.
The story for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle is connected to the Iron Man Experience which is also in Hong Kong Disneyland, and Hydra is is attacking the SHIELD center at the Stark Expo. Your job is to stop Hydra from stealing critical information stored on the SHIELD servers before it gets into the wrong hands.
To do this you need to join Ant-Man and The Wasp to shrink down to nano size and destroy the attacking nano bots from within.
Guests board a DAGER vehicle specially designed by SHIELD and given an EMP blaster which they will use to take down the nano bots. Just look at how awesomely detailed these environments are!!
The attraction itself looks like a plus-ed version of the Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin attraction you can find throughout the Disney Parks, but Disney Imagineers said that this is the most interactive and detailed environment they’ve ever done for a similar attraction. Being a huge fan of Agents of SHIELD, looking around the base and seeing familiar items you see on the show has me really excited!
Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle is part of a larger expansion for the Marvel properties coming to the Disney Parks as 3 Marvel Super Hero Lands are being developed (Disneyland, Hong Kong Disneyland and Disneyland Paris).

It’s rumored that the Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle could be coming to Disneyland too, though that has yet to be confirmed. When Disney develops a new attraction, they tend to roll them out to multiple Disney Parks around the world. So whether or not it hits Disneyland Park, it will find its way into another park somewhere.
From the video we can expect Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle to open March 31, 2019.
