If you like new and exciting experiences and animals, you’re going to love this! Disney announced a new experience called: ‘Up Close with Rhinos’ which is coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom November 1.
Guests get a chance to get up close and personal with these magnificent beasts as part of this new 60-minute guided tour and you might even touch a rhino! Experts will explain to you how they care for the White Rhinos that you an see while visiting the Kilimanjaro Safaris. Being on the endangered species list, they also explain to what lengths Disney goes in helping these wonderful beasts.
Caitlin Miller, a member of the Rhino care team said: “I love talking to guests about how unique each individual rhino’s personality is. I know once guests come and meet the rhinos, they are going to see just how amazing they are and will want to help us secure a future for them.”
You can book the ‘Up Close with Rhinos’ Tour starting November 22, World Rhino Day, by calling (407) WDW-PLAY. It lasts 60 minutes, so the $40 price (plus tax) per person seems like a good deal imo! There are discounts available for select Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members too, so ask about those.

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
