After being gone for more than a year, Single Rider lines are now back at Walt Disney World! This is great news for anyone who is the only one in their family riding some of the big E-Ticket attractions or guests looking to save time.
Due to physical distancing set up in the attraction queues last year, Disney temporarily did away with the Single Rider queues. Instead, they used the queue real estate for putting down ground markers for distancing and keeping guests properly spaced out.
Now that Disney is doing away with physical distancing in the queues, they are also able to bring back the Single Rider feature.
The reason Single Rider is so advantageous to Disney is that it allows them to fill in single seats in ride vehicles that would otherwise go unused. This helps move the line along faster and improves wait times.
So it makes sense to bring back Single Rider now wince guests are being loaded into ride vehicles together with people outside of their traveling party once again.
So far Single Rider lines are available for the following Walt Disney World attractions:
- Expedition Everest (Disney’s Animal Kingdom)
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run (Disney’s Hollywood Studios)
- Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster (Disney’s Hollywood Studios)
- Test Track (EPCOT)
Stay tuned for more updates as soon as we have them.
