Finally after months and months of waiting, Friday January 27th marked the opening of Planet Hollywood Observatory in Disney Springs. The opening has gone through delay after delay, but not you don’t have to wait anymore to try this one-of-a-kind restaurant. Somewhat different from the old Planet Hollywood, this one has had a $25 million face-lift which includes a built in observatory, and while still showing off memorabilia from your favorite celebrities, it also has strong theming of the stars and planets.
Right when you walk in you’ll notice the huge 4,500 sq ft video wall featuring state of the art video and sound.
It also features the new “Stargazers Lounge” which will be decorated like you are in an observatory, relaxing, looking up at the stars while sipping on your beverage of choice. There will even be live music to listen to while you’re in there too!
But honestly what we’re really here for is the food, and there will be plenty of that! The menu got a complete overhaul and includes a whole line of specialty “Knuckle Sandwiches” and “Big Bite Burgers” from celebrity chef Guy Fieri.
These look awesome and huge! Some of these include: Bacon Mac-N-Cheese Burger, Prime Time American Kobe, and Pimento Grilled Cheese.
Besides sandwiches and burgers some of the great options include:
The High Roller Platter:
Lobster Fra Diavolo:
Nachos Grande:
L.A. Lasagna:
Supernova Milkshakes:
The whole menu looks amazing and you can click here for the Full Menu Details.
Planet Hollywood Observatory is open from 11:00am to 1:00am for Lunch and Dinner. You can make reservations by going to the Disney World Website or by calling 407-WDW-DINE. I’ll be there in a couple of weeks to try all the new food and write a review for you all to read.

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
