We’ve had many updates over the last months about the Disney Skyliner project which will connect Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Epcot and some of the area resorts. We now have a first look at the Disney Skyliner Cable Cars as they arrive in Walt Disney World.
Thanks to @Kono_in_orlando for sending us the pictures…
Here is one of the gondola cable cars arriving on the back of a flatbed:
They are really sleeping looking, much more than I thought they would be…
The Skyliner cars each will hold 8 people.
Doppelmayr is the maker of the Disney Skyliner and they figure an hourly throughput of 3,000 guests per hour.
The Disney Skyliner is coming to Walt Disney World sometime in 2019. Don’t forget to check out our latest Disney Skyliner Construction update to see the progression on the project!
Your Thoughts:
I want to know what you think about the first look at the Disney Skyliner Cable Cars arriving in Walt Disney World

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
