UPDATE – 4/27/18: For the third day in a row the Na’vi River Journey will not be operational (Friday April 27) while Flight of Passage is back up and running without any noticeable problems. It’s been a rough couple days for the Pandora: The World of Avatar attractions as they have been closed over the past couple days due to technical problems. Both Flight of Passage and the Na’vi River Journey were closed for periods on Tuesday April 24, 2018 and were closed all day Wednesday April 25, 2018 and the Na’vi River Journey was closed Thursday April 26, 2018, with Flight of Passage running with limited occupancy.
The problem seems to be with the fire detection system, though Disney has not confirmed this. What makes it difficult is that both Pandora attractions: Na’vi River Journey and Flight of Passage share the same attraction building. That means that at times technical problems with one attraction, can also affect the other. Hopefully the problem will be resolved today seeing we are heading into Walt Disney World’s busiest season and both attractions are extremely popular. We’ll keep you updated if any changes occur.
I want to know what you think about the Pandora attraction closures.
- Have these attractions been down during your visit?
- Are you going to be in Pandora today?
