Last night in Disney’s Hollywood Studios Disney put on one of its best events of the year: Star Wars Galactic Nights! And there at the event we learned about some New Info about Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge from Scott Trowbridge, lead Imagineer on the Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge project.
Earlier this week we saw an image of the Millennium Falcon attraction and last night they talked more about it. Trowbridge said: “We’ve all seen her on screen, but until you climb through that hatch, walk through her hallways, sit inside the cockpit, power her up and actually FLY her yourself, it’s not quite the same. Here is a photo of the inside of the ship as we are getting her ready and I can’t wait for you to see her yourself!”
As if flying in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon wasn’t enough, there’s a whole Fleet of Full-sized X-Wings coming to Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge! You’ll be able to walk right up to them and feel them for yourself!
Lastly he talked about a new area in Batuu (the planet’s name in Galaxy’s Edge) where you can by merchandise specific to Galaxy’s Edge. Look for a Toy Store and hand-crafted local merchandise from artisans on Batuu!
Galaxy’s Edge is shaping up to be even more incredible than we could have imagined, and 2019 can’t get here soon enough!

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
