UPDATE: New First Order Battle Escape Construction Photos in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge

As you know Hollywood Studios is under major construction right now with Toy Story Land and Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge both 2 new lands coming to the park in the next 2 years.  We got a look at some new First Order Battle Escape construction photos today! (UPDATE: The attraction will be officially called Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance)

Right now outside the Muppets 3D Theater in the Muppets Courtyard (soon to be Grand Park), there’s a new wall which gets you a bit closer to Galaxy’s Edge and you can get a nice view of the Battle Escape show building construction.

First thing that comes to mind is how much steel is being used in the construction.  If you recall the building is big enough to house an AT-AT inside which will be used as part of the attraction!

Where the angled steel is is where the aforementioned AT-ATs will go.

Here there’s a catwalk that appears to be part of the structure and not just scaffolding.  Could this be part of the attraction?

A few days ago we got a look at the September construction progress of Galaxy’s Edge, including a look at the Millennium Falcon attraction and the Entrance Gate.  As of now we still don’t know when Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge is opening exactly in Hollywood Studios except it will be sometime in 2019, and after the Disneyland version, which is opening first.

Your Thoughts:

I want to know what you think about the New First Order Battle Escape construction photos.  What do you think the attraction be like inside?  What do you think that catwalk will be used for?  Let us know in the comments section below!
