Epcot prides itself on bringing authentic cultural experiences to the guests that visit Walt Disney World, and for some of the countries in World Showcase, that includes cultural art. Today Disney has announced a new exhibit coming to the American Adventure Gallery in Epcot this Summer.
The brand new exhibit coming to the American Heritage Gallery at the American Adventure is called: “Creating Tradition: Innovation and Change in American Indian Art.” This has been made possible by the collaboration of the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture (MIAC) in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) in Washington, D.C.
The new exhibition in the American Adventure will have interactive elements, and some of the artists will share their own creative process and inspirations behind their ideas!
This isn’t the first country in Epcot to get a new art exhibit, as recently additions were made to the art gallery in the Mexico pavilion, as well as additions to the gallery in Norway.
Stay tuned for more info on the “Creating Tradition: Innovation and Change in American Indian Art” exhibition, including an opening date.

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
