Last summer, Disney announced that there would be a brand new Family-style Raft Ride coming to Tphoon Lagoon named “Miss Fortune Falls.” Today Disney announced that instead this ride would be getting a new name: “Miss Adventure Falls.” This new raft ride will be the first expansion from Typhoon Lagoon almost since the park’s opening and will place Miss Adventure Falls over near “Crush ‘n’ Gusher.”
We’ve also now gotten a look at some new concept artwork for Miss Adventure Falls and it looks really cool:
Personally I think it looks stunning. It looks really exciting with a lot of twists and turns, and looks like twice it brings you through the dark. Supposedly it’s going to have a ride time of 2 minutes, which will make it the longest attraction at either of Disney’s 2 Water Parks.
It’s also going to have a slightly creepy audio-animatronic parrot, the captain’s diving partner, which will interact with riders along the voyage.
