Just days ago Disney’s Minnie Van service was added to the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, that changed quickly as now starting today Minnie Vans are now available at Disney’s Polynesian Resort too. It’s been a couple months and the initial reaction for Disney’s newest guest transportation service has been a smash hit! Initially starting only at guests staying in Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club and Boardwalk Resorts, the Minnie Van service then expanded to the Animal Kingdom and Wilderness Lodges too.
If you are new to the Minnie Van Service it’s very simple. To offer a competitive ride-sharing service to transport guests around property, Disney has partnered up with Lyft and offers transportation in the form of a car decorated like Minnie Mouse. Rides are a $20 flat rate, they will bring you anywhere on property you want to go, and there are even some additional perks as well.
To get started with a Minnie Van is really simple, first download the Lyft app on your mobile device. Then all you have to do is go to the front desk of any of the participating Disney resorts and tell them you want to use the service. You give them your mobile number and they will activate your number for use with the Minnie Vans. Go into your Lyft app and select the Minnie Van ride and you’re good to go!

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
