March of the First Order Ending in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

With more Star Wars on the way to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Galaxy’s Edge, another long-time Star Wars experience is ending. The March of the First Order walk is set to close later this week.

March of the First Order in Disney's Hollywood Studios

The March of the First Order is a show in Disney’s Hollywood Studios which has Captain Phasma at the front of a group of Stormtroopers as she leads them down Hollywood Blvd. It’s a daily show and something that always gathers a crowd.

The March of the First order first debuted in April 2016 and has been a staple of the Hollywood Studios attractions ever since and turned into a fan favorite quickly. I personally love to see all the stormtroopers march in order through the park and up to the stage. It’s an exciting moment of any day here.

Captain Phasma marching with the first order

The last performance of The March of the First Order is scheduled for July 6, 2019 and as of now there are no more dates scheduled. It’s not clear what Disney plans to do long-term with the show. It’s always possible that it could move into Galaxy’s Edge once it’s open, or maybe the characters will be moved outside the entrance to keep guests entertained.

We’ll keep you up to date with the story and let you know if the March of the First Order is going away for good or coming back at a later date…
