In a disturbing story from Lake County, Florida, the human remains of a Walt Disney World Cast Member were found Friday. Michael Shaver, a former Monorail mechanic at Walt Disney World, had been missing for 3 years until an upper arm bone and other parts of a skeleton were discovered under a fire pit at his former home.
Authorities went to Michael Shaver’s Lake Country home on February 16 to check on him and his wife Laurie Shaver said she hadn’t heard from him since 2015, but allowed them to search the home. They noticed what appeared to be a fresh layer of concrete near the fire pit and asked permission from Laurie to search the area with a cadaver dog. Even though she denied them, they were able to obtain a warrant and found his remains there.
Michael Shaver’s older sister, Stacie Shaver, 46, said the family had been trying to find her brother but didn’t want to involve the authorities because “we thought we could find him on our own,” she said.
Doesn’t sound good for her…

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
