As we shared last week, the reimagined World of Disney Store in Disney Springs is having its grand opening October 27, and for shoppers visiting that day there will be a special surprise waiting. Guests who buy something on October 27 between 10am and 12pm will get a free small-sized reusable Mickey bag they will then be able to reuse again for shopping.
Here’s what the bag looks like:
Disney has said that the World of Disney store will be the first to offer specially designed reusable merchandise bags, which will feature classic Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and Donald Duck. After the special offer for the free bags, Disney will be offering environmentally friendly bags like this for only $1. This goes with Disney’s new efforts to use less plastics throughout the Disney parks worldwide and be more environmentally friendly.
Of course the offer for the reusable Mickey bags are only until supplies last, so if you want to be sure to get one you should get there early. Guests will be limited to one per transaction.
