Just yesterday we told you about big changes coming to Star Tours, with the old trilogy missions going away for sometime and only new trilogy missions available. Well now Disney has released some concept art for that the new Star Tours – The Adventures Continue new missions will look like. This new adventure will be inspired by the soon to be release film, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and features guests caught up on their starspeeder in a massive battle between the First Order and the Resistance on the planet of Crait.
The Disney Parks blog also says that it won’t be the only mission but: “There is another.” From what we posted yesterday, besides the mission to Crait, the other mission coming to Star Tours, is an adventure on the casino planet of Canto Bight and a sequence featuring Jakku. Once Star Tours re-opens you’ll have to wait for a while until Disney ultimately gives guests the choice of whether they want to experience the Old Trilogy Missions or New Trilogy ones.
The concept art looks great and I can’t wait to get in there and experience Star Tours The Adventures Continue for myself. The new version opens in Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World (Nov 17th), Disneyland Park (Nov 17th), Disneyland Paris (Nov 22nd) and Tokyo Disneyland (December 15th).

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
