Last week we highlighted some of the amazing food you will be able to try at the 2017 Epcot International Festival of the Arts, but also you’ll be able to show off your inner artist with select artistic experiences which are now available to book. These different experiences will be available beginning January 13th – February 20th, 2017.
One that sounds really cool is Gesture Drawing which is a class that will be held by Disney animator Todd Bright. They say a single drawing tells a story and Gesture Drawing is one of the basic tasks that animators, storyboard artists, and directors have to do. This class will help you to tell a story through a simple sketch, and bring it to life.
Some other awesome Workshops include:
- Floral Arranging with a Disney Floral & Gifts Designer
- Watercolor Love
-
Become an Artisan Spice Blend Mix-Master
- Truffle Making
- Ink & Paint Animation
- Mixology
-
Animation 101
- Jewelry Making
- Olive Oil 101
- Handwritten Typography
- Intro to Modern Calligraphy
- Artfully Blending Tea
It looks like an awesome list of events which are mixed between Art and Culinary Arts.
There’s also a great new Dining Package where guests can make a reservation for a meal and performance combo: breakfast, lunch or dinner, which will then be followed by a phenomenal Disney on Broadway inspired concert. These will happen nightly during the Festival from January 13 – February 20, 2017. This will include a 3-Course Meal or Full Buffet and Priority Seating at the 8:00pm concert which will have song from award winning Disney shows such as The Lion King, Newsies and Aladdin.
The Prices range from $39-$69 +Tax for Adults and $23-$41 +Tax for children.
The full list of Festival Experiences can be seen on this list. You can book now by calling 407-WDW-PLAY. There’s a 15% Discount on select experiences for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members.

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
