We have some great news to report as you are about to get more Walt Disney World nighttime entertainment very soon. Disney has announced that the Electrical Water Pageant is returning starting December 20, 2020!
Since Walt Disney World reopened back in July, nighttime entertainment has been hard to come by, which means that getting the Electrical Water Pageant back brings us one step closer to normalcy once again.
On Sunday, December 20, 2020, the Electrical Water Pageant will make its way around the Seven Seas Lagoon and will be visible from outside the Magic Kingdom along with the nearby Disney World Resort Hotels.
Here is the schedule for the Electrical Water Pageant and when it will be visible from the various locations:
- Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort – beginning at 8:45 PM
- Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa – beginning at 9:00 PM
- Disney’s Wilderness Lodge – beginning at 9:30 PM
- Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground – beginning at 9:45 PM
- Disney’s Contemporary Resort – beginning at 10:00 PM

This news comes at no shock since guests have seen the Electrical Water Pageant floats being tested in recent days with both the lights and music actively running.
The Electrical Water Pageant is one of Walt Disney World’s longest-running shows and debuted on the Seven Seas Lagoon all the way back on October 25, 1971. Even though it doesn’t use the newest technology, this whimsical show has been entertaining guests to classic Disney tunes ever since.
