DisneyQuest Demolition in Full Force

DisneyQuest Demolition Disney Springs

A few weeks ago Disney started the demolition of DisneyQuest in Disney Springs, but things have been quiet since.  Not so anymore.  In fact these images are painful to watch for many of us who grew up on this place, and it’s hard to see the DisneyQuest demolition moving full-speed ahead.

If you remember a few weeks ago the inside was being cleared out and orange demolition lines painted on the outside of the building:

Now Disney has just started straight smashing in those same walls today:

If you get squeamish, close your eyes..??

New NBA Experience Construction:

While it’s certainly sad to see DisneyQuest go, at least we got some good news today about its successor: NBA Experience, opening in Summer 2019.  I would hope they would drop some good news on us after demolishing DisneyQuest today like they did!

No word on when the DisneyQuest demolition will be completed.  The inside looks cleaned out pretty good, but there still is plenty of work to do!  We’ll let you know as soon as we have more!

Your Thoughts:

I want to know what you think about the DisneyQuest demolition.  Is it as tough for you to watch as me?  Let us know in the comments section below!

If you enjoyed this article, as always I appreciate it if you’d share it with others via social media.  I work hard at making this website into a useful resource for you and your family to plan your visit to Walt Disney World, and I hope it can help you! Thanks 🙂

I know it was so outdated but it was a place my family went often. I hope what they replace it with will bring just as many memories

Yeah, DisneyQuest was great, it'll be interesting to see if the new NBA experience can create the same kind of atmosphere..
