Disney Joins Hulu’s Live Streaming Service

Disney Joins HuluGreat news for media consumers…The Walt Disney Company and Hulu have partnered up together.  Disney joins Hulu’s new live streaming service which means ABC, ESPN will be available to watch online.  Fox also has negotiated a deal with Hulu and other companies such as CBS and NBC are still working on it.

What does this mean?  Before now you either had to have a cable TV subscription and watch these channles on your TV or certain ones like ESPN did have streaming, but again asked verification through your cable subscription.  Disney saw the writing on the wall.  Users want content brought to them on platforms that they already use, and today many people don’t have cable subscriptions, so this positions them perfect in the market of streaming media content and sets them up for years to come.

Hulu says they are looking at a 2017 release date of their new product, so stay tuned for more to come…
