One of the most surprising announcements from last year’s D23 Expo was when Disney announced a new Space-themed Restaurant coming to Epcot’s Future World. The only question was where exactly. Today Disney announced the location for that Space-themed Restaurant and it’s going to be between the Mission: SPACE attraction and Test Track.
That’s the logical place for it, though some have been speculating recently, saying that it could be going into the old Wonders of Life Pavilion nearby. Now that Disney has given the location for the restaurant we can put that rumor to bed.
The Space-themed Restaurant is going to be owned and run by the Patina group, the great people that brought us Via Napoli and Tutto Italia in Epcot, as well as some of my favorite Disney Springs dining locations: Morimoto Asia and the new Maria and Enzo’s (which is amazing btw).
In the above photo you can see what the space-themed restaurant in Epcot is going to look like. Probably the coolest feature will be those awesome “windows” which will give you a look into outer space. It will really make you feel like you are there on an adventure! We still don’t even know anything about the food and I’m already excited! 🙂
This is only one of the many projects coming as part of a huge Expansion to Epcot including a New Future World Hotel.
Stay tuned for more information!

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
