Exciting news today for those interested in the newest Disney Vacation Club Resort. Sales of the Copper Creek Villas and Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge begin next week. Disney Vacation Club members will have first dibs to purchase real estate there beginning March 8, then the general public will be April 5.
Copper Creek Villas and Cabins will be the 14th Disney Vacation Club property and the 2nd at the Wilderness Lodge. The construction is currently in progress and will be finished on July 17th.
The theming is really cool and fits in well at the Wilderness Lodge. It’s inspired by the legendary mining and railroad history of the Pacific Northwest, but guests here will be doing anything but roughing it! The accommodations are rustic yet elegant and put a modern twist on the great outdoors. It will have 184 Vacation Homes including Deluxe Studios, 2 Bedroom Villas and 3 Bedroom Grand Villas, which sleep up to 12, for when you bring the whole family!

One of the coolest parts though to me are the 26 all-new luxurious waterfront cabins. They sleep up to 8 and have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and large dining and living room spaces. They also are very rustic looking with exposed wooden beams and a stone fireplace. They will also have a nice porch and hot tub, with a view of the Lake, so you can relax after a long day in the parks watching the Electrical Water Pageant! Sign me up!
This is only one of many additions at the Wilderness Lodge. Just recently the new Geyser Point Bar and Grill opened up to rave reviews; the Boulder Ridge Cove pool in the other DVC section of Wilderness Lodge is opening this Summer; and Roaring Fork is going through a refurb which will update its look a bit and give it more outdoor seating! Not to mention the all-new salon opening this Summer where you can get pool-side manicures, pedicures and hair treatments.
