The Circle of Life at The Land Pavilion Closing

Another attraction is closing in Walt Disney World, although this one won’t have nearly the impact as The Great Movie Ride or Universe of Energy.  The Circle of Life: An Environmental Fable in The Land pavilion will be closing after 22 years after its final showing on February 3rd, 2018.

What’s coming to replace it?  The space will be used for student workshops and performances starting February 9th, 2018.

The Circle of Life: An Environmental Fable is a 20 minute live-action film telling the story of man’s relationship with the earth, and what we can do to protect it.  Personally I’m not getting choked up about it or anything, it’s cute and all but I’m more interested to see if using the space for workshops will just be temporary or if Disney has something larger in mind.

Get down to The Land by February 3rd if you want to see The Circle of Life one last time!

I really like the boat ride showing how they grow things there, and then use the in some of the restaurants. It’s alwau a nice relaxing ride and of course when it’s hot out a nice place to catch the A/C

I am almost 75 years old and not afraid to say I love Walt Disney World!! We drove down from Keesler AFB in, I think, 1972 or 3 for our first trip! When we moved to California after we got out of the military, we went to Disneyland in LA! After our son was born, we moved to Arkansas to be closer to family, mine in .tennessee and Bob’s in Texas! When Mike was 3 we drove to Disney World for the first time. We stayed off sight because Bob has accumulated points points from Holiday Inn that would help the cost of our trip! Then we went back every three years until he was 15. After he went to college and then married, we sent him and his bride to ?Disney for their honeymoon!! A litter later we started going alone and we have kept it up for the past 8 years, with plans to go again next September after school starts! No doubt, we all love anything Disney!! We usually stay on sight now fir the convenience and easy access to the parks! Knowing this far ahead that we will be going back for our 9th consecutive time is part of the thrill!! WE LOVE DISNEY WORLD!!! Thanks for taking the time to let an old lady tell you her feelings!! Elaine
