It’s easy to find your favorite characters in the theme parks, but now Disney characters are also coming to The Walt Disney World Resort hotels later this month.
According to wdwmagic, Disney characters will be making appearances at the Disney World Resort hotels for guests to see.
Characters will arrive in customized RVs and will be part of what are called “Pop-up adventures.” There won’t be any traditional meet and greets, but characters will be socially distanced from guests, allowing them to interact from a distance.
Disney characters are not usually found at the resort hotels, but sometimes show up during the holiday season. At this time it is unknown if this will be a temporary thing or if the characters will stick around at the hotels after the holiday season is over.
Also, don’t expect to find a fixed schedule for when these characters will come around to the hotels, it will most likely be random.
Earlier this year Disney drastically changed the way characters interact with guests at the theme parks, eliminating character meets and changing how they interact at character meals. They even introduced brand new character cavalcades similar to parades where guests can see all their favorites.
Read our post on Disney Character Cavalcades which breaks down how to meet characters in the parks during this reopening phase.
As soon as we have more info on the characters coming to the Disney World Resort Hotels we’ll let you know.

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
