The Brewer’s Collection is back at the Food and Wine Festival this year and with it a lot of delicious beers! So just to let you know upfront…I have an unhealthily love for the Schöfferhofer Hefeweizen Pomegranate Beer at Brewer’s Collection. In fact I wrote a whole article just on that alone and I almost always had one with me while making my way around World Showcase.
Well it’s back again this year and I can’t wait to get it along with some other beer options this time too! Let’s see if it’s as good as I remember in my Brewer’s Collection Review – 2019 Epcot Food and Wine Festival….
Brewer’s Collection Marketplace:
You’ll find the Brewer’s Collection marketplace over by Germany:
I love this area of World Showcase because it feels so tucked away in a corner. Plus you have the stage there to the right where performers get up and sing and dance too. It’s a cool place to hang out with a beer!
Brewer’s Collection Menu:
If you were wondering what they served at Brewer’s Collection, I’ll take the guessing away for you….beer, beer and more beer! It fits right in next to Germany and really feels like an extension of the Germany pavilion itself! It’s a must stop for beer lovers!
You know we are getting the Pomegranate beer for sure, but if you’re looking to try all of them, the Beer Flight is the way to go as it’s much cheaper than buying each one individually!
This year not too much has changed from last year, though they did change one of the beers a couple of years ago, the Weihenstephaner Festbier Lager.
Beverages:
- Weihenstephaner Festbier Lager, Freising ($4.50)
- Hacker-Pschorr Hefe Weisse Naturtrüb ($4.50)
- Schöfferhofer Hefeweizen Pomegranate Beer ($4.50)
- Beer Flight ($9.75)
Menu Review:
Beer Flight ($9.75):
At Brewer’s Collection you don’t really have much of a choice but to order beer, and again, it’s much cheaper to order it as a flight so that’s what we’re doing!
Weihenstephaner Festbier Lager ($4.75):
First up was the Weihenstephaner Festbier Lager. It was light, but it didn’t have that much taste honestly. Nothing special, just an average beer.
Hacker-Pschorr Hefe Weisse Naturtrüb ($5.50):
We really liked the Hacker-Pschorr Hefe Weisse. It was slightly hoppy and crisp, no citrus notes to it at all. Went down smooth. We’d order this again on its own.
Schöfferhofer Hefeweizen Pomegranate Beer ($3.75):
Lastly was our favorite beer, the Schofferhofer Hefeweizen Pomegranate beer!! If you read our review of Brewer’s Collection a couple of years ago, then you know that this beer holds a special place in our heart, and I’ve been looking forward to this all year long!!
It’s my absolute favorite during Food and Wine, and right on par with the Grapefruit one that’s served regularly in the Germany Pavilion. I don’t like heavy beers, so this was really light and refreshing. Not a high alcohol content at just 2.5%, but very flavorful.
I can taste a bit of raspberry actually in the beer, and the aroma is incredible! If you like heavy, foamy beers then look the other way, but if you want something fruity and refreshing then this is perfect for you!
Booth Summary and Grade:
It’s hard to rate Brewer’s Collection against all the other marketplaces at the Food and Wine Festival since they are so small and only serve 3 beers. It’s also a bit disappointing to not see a bigger variety of beer on the menu, maybe introducing 2 flights. That said, it’s definitely one of my favorite stops at Food and Wine though if I’m in the mood for a beer.
I just can’t get enough of the Brewer’s Collection simply for the fact that I love the Pomegranate Beer so much. Next year though I’d like to see another flight available to mix things up!

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.
