One of the coolest announcements we got at the D23 Expo was the launch of the Walt Disney World’s Minnie Vans, a new rideshare transportation service that will bring you around in style! And today I’m happy to tell you that Minnie Van Service is now available! Together with Lyft Walt Disney World guest can call one of the Minnie Vans right from their own smartphone on the Lyft app. Then a cast member will come and pick you and and bring you anywhere you want to go on Walt Disney World property.
Minnie Vans are starting for guests staying at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club and Disney’s Boardwalk Resort and will be available from 6:30am to 12:30am, with rides costing a flat-rate of $20 per ride to anywhere on property. Minnie Vans are made with 2017 Chevrolet Traverse Premier mid-sized SUVs and can hold 6 people. Guests staying at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort and Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts can learn more by visiting their Bell Services desk.
Some people don’t like the fact that it’s $20, which is more expensive than a normal Lyft or Uber ride, but that’s ok. Last week I wrote some reasons Why Minnie Vans are Worth the Cost, and even though it won’t be for everyone, I think it’s an excellent addition to the Disney World Transportation fleet that many will absolutely love.
Check out our Disney Minnie Van Review to find out all the positives and negatives about the service and to see if it’s right for you! Check it out when you get a chance and let me know how you feel about them!

My name is Ziggy and I love Disney, everything Disney! I grew up on Disney and it has and continues to be a huge part of my life. I started young when my parents took me to Disney World when I was 18 months old. Little did they know that would be the first of an uncountable number of trips we would take. I have so many amazing memories going to Disney with my family and friends and it has been interwoven into my DNA.

We took the minivans several times last year. A fun experience? It’s not expensive and it’s a cool way to be picked up at your hotel and taken anywhere on Disney property. And the drivers are Disney employees already and have done others jobs so you can pick there brains about a lot of Disney trivia. I’m not sure about the cost of $150 one way from the airport. May be too costly for a lot of people but some may like it. Because it really starts your Disney experience from the airport.
